For the curated section of our inaugural issue, we were particularly interested in the idea of information and travel, and the structures, vessels, or shelters that we move between. When we are prevented from moving from place to place, how does the significance of our private and public places change? The meaning of comfort or “having room” varies depending on where we live, our cultural and historical backgrounds, and how we interact with others. In this section we explore the work of twelve artists from around the world who employ a wide variety of media to make work that is in dialogue in some way with ideas of structure, time, and movement
